Although our automated systems were originally developed with the hospitality and catering industries in mind, they’re now used in other industries.

A common approach to monitoring refrigerators and freezers is to schedule personnel to perform regular manual temperature checks. While this approach is easy to set up and initial cost is minimal, it can be very expensive to maintain (high labour costs with time/job priority issues) and is frequently unreliable. Often by the time a person discovers a problem, a few critical hours have gone by - that can mean the difference between saving the product and having to destroy the entire contents of the refrigerator. The risk goes up even more during off-hours, when limited resources can result in temperature checks simply not being made.

Whether you are just monitoring one or two units, or several hundred, t-Scan solution systems log temperatures, store records, and alert  you to the first signs of any temperature problems. Alarms are generated via pager, email and SMS, with a remedial action facility to record and report actions taken in order to correct the alarm situation.
