About RAG

Back in 2001 a chance meeting with a microbiologist got us thinking about the concept of an automated temperature monitoring system.  The legislation that was driving food safety standards was putting greater demands on food storage for companies in the catering and hospitality businesses – there was definitely a need for this.

In February 2003 RAG launched their innovative and effective automated solutions to industries requiring temperature monitoring.  This was further enhanced in the run up to 1st January 2006, when the full competencies of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) were introduced as the guidelines for Food Safety Legislation.

At RAG one innovation is not enough.  Products continue to improve and are constantly developed to meet the changing requirements of our clients.  Listening to what our clients need has resulted in the development of the t-Scan 100, one of the most powerful monitoring solutions within the respective markets (in particular Food and Pharmaceutical) that require temperature monitoring.  t-scan 100 offers a virtually unlimited number of points that can be monitored.

RAG now provides the hospitality and catering industry with its monitoring solutions.  RAG also meets the monitoring requirements of the pharmaceutical, medical and life sciences industries.

Providing an excellent quality service for our clients is at the heart of our ethos. Achieving ISO 9001:2000 International Standard is evidence of this commitment to client support and service.

At RAG, our clients are encouraged not to fear legislation, but to embrace it as the minimum standard to be achieved.  Through the work of our development team – working in partnership with our clients – we have provided financial savings and a return on investment.  As well as meeting all legal requirements, these savings have been achieved through efficiencies created and implemented in a short period of time.

This year has seen a marked increase in the number of enquiries made and solutions provided by RAG, both in the UK and Worldwide. As a company providing fully automated wireless temperature monitoring, customers come to us for peace of mind.

We will not rest on our laurels regarding the high quality of both solution and service already achieved.  We continue to work with our clients to develop the solutions required for an ever expanding and changing market, within hospitality and catering, and other industries that are recognising the quality provision of solutions RAG offers to their business needs.
